This is one of my favorite parts of living in a colder climate! Not only the beauty of the snowy landscape, but the beauty of a snow day. I’ve only had a few so far, but each time I want to take full advantage of my surprise day off of teaching. I painted this one looking out the window at the morning light hitting the snow on the pines.
